Our company, Nippon Steel Rolls Corporation, originated from the roll manufacturing division of the state-owned Yawata Steel Works, which was established in 1909, and the casting roll division of Kanto Special Steel Works, Ltd., which was established in 1936. Today, we are a wholly owned group company of Nippon Steel Corporation and are engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling, and providing technical services for steel rolling mill rolls.

Rolls are an important material that significantly impacts the quality and productivity of steel products. Our missions are to:
　・Stably supply high quality, high performance rolls; and
　・Continue to develop and improve our products while responding to changes in rolling technology
　　in order to continue to provide the
most advanced technology in the world.

We mainly produce high performance rolls, such as centrifugal casting high-speed steel (HSS) rolls and continuous pouring process for cladding (CPC) rolls for hot rolling mills. About half of these are used by Nippon Steel Corporation, while the other half are used by major steelmakers in Japan and overseas.

Most of the world's top ten crude steel producers are our customers, and we are very proud of the high praise we have received from them for our rolls and technical services.

As we approach an important milestone in the generational transition of both our production facilities and our employees, we have embarked on a major reform of our business processes and improvement of our human resource development. We intend to focus on recruiting and training "people with a passion for manufacturing" and "people with vitality who can also work overseas."

We will fulfill the above mission and dedicate ourselves to manufacturing rolls that meet or exceed our customers' trust and expectations.
